Aspiring artists in the Mid-Atlantic region are well served to be involved with Power Jam Music Alliance (PJMA). In fact, those that have failed to hook up with PJMA are missing half the action.

What began as an effort to bring together PJMA bands and other southern Maryland artists has become the most anticipated event of the year. Park Rock Fest is a two day event at Chancellors Run Regional Park in Great Mills, MD. There will be five stages with fourteen performances on each stage each day. That's a lot of live music in one place. And PJMA does it with style.

PJMA was started in St. Mary's County in June of 2003 as a franchise of the not for profit corporation My Brothers Place Inc., Waldorf, MD. In the 2007 season PJMA organized over one hundred local concerts from band battles to the now revered Park Rock Fest; in it's sixth season.

Not only will there be 140 of the hottest bands in the area like Under Command, Kneel to Zod, Lauren D’Aria, Black Box Warning, White Shadow and many more, but there will be food courts, T-shirt, jewelry and other unique merchants. It's a two day event that can't be missed.
